Turned In Floor Lamp

The wood base stacks in rounded, hand-turned sections, each one a little wider than the last, before narrowing into a slim neck that holds a frosted glass dome overhead. The light glows soft and even through the glass, nothing harsh enough to keep anyone awake past when they meant to be.

This is the lamp for the last thing switched off before the room goes dark. For the nightstand that doesn't need much besides a glass of water and something to read by. For the exact moment the day actually ends.
