Eyes to the Wall Sconce

Two black cones meet at a slim brass collar, one opening upward, one pointing down, throwing light in opposite directions from the same fixed point on the wall. The shape reads almost like an hourglass turned on its side, equal parts up and down, equal parts light and shadow.

This is the sconce for the hallway or stairwell that needed something worth a second look. For the mid-century room that wanted a fixture with real shape to it. For a piece that draws the eye sideways instead of straight ahead.
