Bold Angle Floor Lamp

The base cuts a sharp diagonal line up from the floor, faceted edges catching shadow differently depending on where the light hits, before straightening out just enough to hold a clean white shade steady at the top. Nothing about the shape is symmetrical, and it doesn't pretend otherwise.

This is the lamp for the corner that needed a little tension. For the room full of soft curves that could use one hard edge to balance it out. For a piece that reads more like sculpture than fixture, with the added benefit of actually lighting the room.
