Bedside Story Sconce

The brass arm arcs up and over before dropping down to a frosted globe, light spilling soft and even across a pillow instead of straight into someone's eyes. At the base, a small pierced brass ball catches whatever glow escapes, throwing tiny points of light across the nearby wall like something out of an old traveler's lantern.

This is the sconce for the last chapter read before the lamp goes off. For the nightstand that finally has enough room again because the fixture moved to the wall. For a piece with just enough detail to notice, without asking for too much attention.
